Maybelline Pure Makeup


I had just finished up my last tube of Maybelline Pure Makeup. I had been using it for a long time now and am disappointed to find that the line had been discontinued and I can no longer buy it from drugstores. Why did Maybelline discontinue such a good product? This is the best liquid foundation I ever had. It provides pretty good shine control. It's 50% water based, oil free. It's light and it's comfortable to wear. It's easy to apply and it gives a flawless finish and doesn't clog pores. I feel so upset that I can't find this foundation anymore in the drugstores. I just don't want to experiment a total new foundation after I had found one that worked perfectly with my skin. However, I was able to find them on Amazon at $8.99. Not sure for how long these last remainders of this great line is going to last until there is no more left...  This product is made in the USA.

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse 1 FL oz. $8.79 I'm so happy that I finally used up this foundation that I bought over a year ago... I don't wear foundation regularly so it took me over a year to finally finish this bottle. This foundation claims to give an airbrush finish....but it didn't.. not to my face. In terms of coverage, it's all right, just like other liquid foundation, not better, not worse. Since I have oily skin, this mousse doesn't work too well for me, it's somewhat greasy... The foundation just didn't embrace my skin and become part of it. My made up look is a little too floating... I prefer foundation that is more attached to my skin... I think it's because of the grease in the mousse. I always felt my face oily when I wore it and it was quite uncomfortable. It's not too bad cause I had much worse foundation before... just not what I expect it to be.... I think however this foundation may work well on dry skin... I'm just happy that...
